Sigma Ukraine sponsored 10th Microsoft .NET User Group meeting in Odessa

10th Odessa .NET community meeting took place on November, 25 and welcomed over 130 community members. The event was organized by the Computer Academy "Step" and Sigma Ukraine became its sponsor.

Sergey Baydachny, software development specialist at Microsoft Ukraine has become a guest of the 10th User Group meeting and presented two reports. The first was devoted to Windows Phone “Mango” new features and particularly concerned the application life cycle, its capabilities and limitations. HTML 5, its goals, objectives and mechanisms were subject of the second report.  Audience had active discussion on presented topics.

“User Group is a great platform for regular meetings, raising up-to-date and interesting questions. Such events refresh Odessa`s IT life, and we are happy to support them,” — says Valery Krasovsky, COO at Sigma Ukraine.

“We strive to maintain enthusiasm and interest in participants, enabling them to gain practical knowledge and experience first-hand from high level specialists and take part in interesting disputes. There are many surprises coming in near future: we’re discussing collaboration opportunities with tools and utilities producers,” — says Anton Vidishchev, one of the User Group inspirers and Programming Team Leader at Sigma Ukraine.

As part of the event, accompanied by audience applause, the traditional prize drawings from the event sponsors took place. Friendly atmosphere prevailed on the meeting and it can be safely said that the event turned out well.
